Dar es Salaam, Tanzania - 29th July, 2021 — Pesapal Tanzania is delighted to receive the National Application Service License (AS) from Tanzania Communications Regulatory Authority (TCRA).

The acquisition of this license which is under TCRA’s new converged licensing framework demonstrates Pesapal’s commitment to drive connected digital payments to consumers and businesses in Africa.

“Tanzania’s mobile penetration reached 85% by early 2020. Given the growth of mobile commerce transactions in this region, this license reinforces Pesapal objective to offer affordable, innovative, and easy to use solutions for small businesses and consumers alike.” said Bupe Mwakalundwa.
